Miss East Africa UK 2010 contestant Barbara would like to start a support work consultancy agency with the prize money

My name is Barbara Namulondo and I represent Uganda. I’m a twenty three year old housing officer. I like reading biographies of successful entrepreneurs. My favourite books are Ugly and A piece of cake. I love humanitarian work and constantly looking for ways of getting involved in charity work. I am fascinated by foreign languages and different cultures, which is why I hope to become a United Nations worker one day upon completion of my career goals.

I would love my friends, family and the public to support me to win this prestigious title because of my genuine desire to help non profitable charities. I can reassure my supporters that I’m not just beauty, but also career minded and ambitious to deliver excellence in all my achievements. I would love to win Miss East Africa UK because I recognise the need for an ambassador for East Africa.

If I win I will start my own support work consultancy agency. I aim to give excellent consultation to new and existing support worker agencies on how to meet statutory laws and implement excellent policies in the aim of improving their services.
