Miss East Africa UK 2010 contestants representing East Africa in London

With only a few days to the Mr and Miss East Africa UK Grand National Finals, contestants are determined to show the rest of the world what it’s like to be East African in the UK by waving their flags in one of London’s most busy and beautiful attractions, Tower Bridge. Top media company 601 TV owned by a Kenyan entrepreneur David Mbiyu was behind the cameras capturing contestants as they represented their countries.

The prestigious Mr and Miss East Africa UK 2010 is set to take place at Central Hall Westminster on 3rd July with winners walking away with prize money to help them with their business ventures. The show will be raising funds to buy a solar water heater for children’s orphanage Forever Angels Baby Home in Tanzania.

Whilst setting the standards high and introducing fresh ideas; the pageant is promoting entrepreneurship among young East Africans living in the UK.

Winners will be picked by a live voting audience, something that has never been done in any beauty pageant. Purchase your ticket on the link below in order to be able to cast your vote and be part of this history making event.
