Meet contestant Daisy of Mr and Miss East Africa UK 2010
May 28th

Kenyan contestant Daisy is already supporting a village school in Kenya, she needs your votes so she can get involved with more schools
My name is Daisy Rogers. I will be representing Kenya. I am studying psychology and society health and development. My spare time is spent socialising, sports and organising fundraising events for charities and for disadvantaged schools in Kenya. I am determined, hard working and I have a great sense of humour (that’s if you get my jokes).
The public should come and cast their votes for me because I have great passion for children and young people like me in Africa. I’ve always wanted to get involved with issues such as tackling lack of daily essentials like clean water and children that suffer with HIV. I have now been given the opportunity and I am going to take it and change lives one child at a time. I have already helped one school in the village in Kenya and I am determined to help more disadvantage children.
If I’m crowned Miss East Africa UK, the prize money will be invested in my business which is promoting sports and giving a chance to children who have talent but they do not have enough money or equipment to pursue there talent and break the poverty chain. From my experience being raised up in Kenya, there is a lot of talent in youngsters that is going to waste. I would also work closely with particulars school to help supply them with shoes, uniform and books.
Please buy your advance voting ticket and come and cast your vote for me on 3rd July at Central Hall Westminster.
